Join us on a journey through a century of Danish art. The museum’s collection spans the Danish Golden Age, the Skagen Painters and Symbolism, and includes many of the period’s major works. This guided tour explores a transformative era in Danish history and art. Learn about the different artistic movements of the 19th century and discover everything from idyllic and dramatic landscapes to portraits of the growing middle class and depictions of working people at the margins of society.
